Coalition Members Win Big

Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru has awarded businesses in five different categories, awards for the best Christmas lights. ALL FIVE are Branson Christmas Coalition member partners who are not only decorating their businesses in fantastic fashion, but are supporting the Coalition's community-wide work to make Branson the most spectacular holiday destination in the Midwest. Steve Hager of Attractions Management Group, LLC, in Branson announced the first annual Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru Awards for Best Christmas Lights in 2021, naming winners in five categories of businesses – Hotel, Restaurant, Attraction, Theater, and General Business.

Hager said, “... our attraction was just part of the appeal of Ozark Mountain Christmas. We wanted to recognize those businesses that helped make our community     shine at Christmas. We want the world to know about Ozark Mountain Christmas, and how beautiful it is and the real reason for the season.”

The first  awards announced for Christmas 2021 were as follows:

     
• HOTEL WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Hilton Branson Convention Center.
     
• RESTAURANT WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Chick-fil-A Branson.
     
• ATTRACTION  WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: The Track Family Fun Parks (Branson Ferris Wheel).
     
• THEATER WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Presleys’ Theatre.
     
• GENERAL  BUSINESS WITH THE BEST CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Dick’s 5 & 10.
     

Hager continued, “Several years ago, Branson had awards for best Christmas lights, but that was discontinued. The spirit of the town, and the effort put forth      by so many businesses last Christmas, coupled with the chance to shine the light on Branson’s Ozark Mountain Christmas, inspired us to introduce these awards.”

Lights of Joy Christmas Drive-Thru plans to expand the process in 2022 with seeking out nominations after November thru their website. So, if you want to nominate a business for Best Christmas Lights, just go to lightsofjoydrivethru.com beginning November  to nominate. The plan is these will become annual awards.
